My Top Elf Products

Elf (eyes.lips.face) may be the best makeup out there! Why? Because it is very inexpensive! So, do the products actually work? Well, here is a list of the ones that I have tried and loved!

Lets start at the base of the face. Foundation!
Pros: This foundation is very full coverage and looks really nice on the skin. Its only $6 who can beat that! I have normal skin and it is absolutely amazing. Surprising!
Cons: It only comes in a small variety of shades. I'm very light skinned and their lightest shade is a bit too dark on me. It is workable, but dark.
Next, what to apply it with! A foundation brush.

Okay, so technically it is a powder brush, but the flat top makes it perfect to really puff product into the skin. This one is definitely a pro all the way. I used to use it to buff my foundation in, now that i use a beauty blender, I use it to wipe my powder away from my under eyes and buff it in else where. Best part, it's only $3!

Need something to help your foundation stay all day, or to help fill in pores? Try a primer!

Pros: This primer really works and helps fill in pores and lines. I never have any movement of my foundation during the day. It is nice and silky smooth.
Cons: It is a little wet. While your supposed to wait a bit for your primer to set on your face before applying foundation, I feel you have to wait extra long for this. It is on the bit pricer side at $6 but for a primer thats not to bad!

Need helping getting your eyeshadow to stay all day or to show up brighter? Try a eyeshadow primer!

Pros: It hold up really well! I would say it is very comparable to a few higher brands I have tried!
Cons: Not very much comes in the tube, I get about a months use out of it where higher brands have way more product in it, however, at $3 you can't really beat it!

Dry lips? Lipstick not going on smoothly? Try an exfoliator!

Pros: This stuff works awesome. It's almost like a chapstick mixed with sugar to really scrub your lips. It's very easy to use as it comes in the exact form of a lipstick!
Cons: It falls apart fairly easy, you have to make sure you don't twist it too high or push to hard or it will start to break, it isn't unusable though even if it does break! This one comes in at $3!

Interested in contouring but not really sure where to start?
Pros: This duo has beautiful colors in it and apply very nicely.
Cons: Its not the most versatile, more for light skin, and definitely not for hard core contouring.
At $3 though you can't beat it! Blush and conturing powder!

And last, cleaning your tools is very important. It stops from spreading bacteria, causing acne and infections.

Pros: It works! Cleaning brushes is not a fun task and this makes it a simple job.
Cons: Its not a very thick texture or long lasting, expect to change its out every few brushes; this can make the job a bit longer.

Thanks for reading! Hope this helps!
