How to Peel Garlic - Easy and Fast

Just wanted to share a little tip that I use about once a week. This is by no means my trick,  just something I've learned that I thought I could pass along!

To get started all you need is a mason jar and a head of garlic!

First, put the head of garlic into the mason jar and close the lid.




Shake the jar until you see that all of the husk come off of the individual garlic pieces.






Dump the jar out and separate the individual pieces of garlic. Return them to the jar and tighten the lid back on.




















Shake the jar again until the garlic sheds its skin!

Pull the pieces out, wash them off, and store them. They can be stored in a jar with olive oil or in the freezer. Hope this helps!
